Why I Started Sunshine Pixel
This isn’t just a job for me either; it’s my passion
Before Sunshine Pixel, I co-built a business that, while it looked great on paper, left me feeling drained. I’d work with large organizations, dealing with a middle man/women who inevitably didn’t care that much about the outcome. Meanwhile, we’d turn away passionate entrepreneurs because they just didn’t have the budget for our offers.
This hit me hard. Because those were the people I resonated with and wanted to help achieve their dreams. The author and entreprenuer that put their entire heart into what they do.
So I built Sunshine Pixel with the dream to offer a variety of options for all budgets and help the people who this isn’t just a business to. It's something you've built with real passion, real belief, and a lot of yourself. That kind of work deserves a brand that carries that weight.

I am an obsessive reader, with often multiple books on the go and a lot of bookish decor (and mugs). I don’t understand how people get bored because I always have a book on hand! I’ve been trying to work on my own novel for quite a few years now. It’s slow progress, but it’s progress! I can’t give any spoilers, but it’s contemporary fantasy.

My hidden talent is that I can make my own clothes (though I have less time for it now I have a 2-year-old). When I was younger, I used to find any scraps I could to design myself something unique. It’s led to a lifelong love of fashion, and I even made my own wedding dress (leading to my husband staying up with me the night before the big day to pick out the hem because it wasn’t quite right!).

Raising my daughter and spending time with my family is my biggest priority. I don’t buy into hustle culture; I am building this to work 30-hour weeks and spend more time with the people I love.
